Our Bow Tie uses both the 1000 year-old Anda-gumi braid pattern*. Many Anda-gumi obi belts made over 1,000 years ago still exist in the Shosoin Repository in Nara. We recommend wearing it with fullness and volume, taking advantage of the unique tension and flexibility of the braided cord*. The length of the belt can be adjusted with a hook system. The Bow tie Butterfly comes in two styles: standard and butterfly.
