The Kumihimo Tie uses both the 1000 year-old Anda-gumi braid pattern and the Mashi-gyoku technique towards the end where the number of threads gradually increases.
The Tie comes in three styles: standard, wide, and straight. Although slightly stiff at first, the tie will soften within a few uses.
