Creative Japanese Incense Workshop – Scent from 1000 Years Ago
Japan House Los Angeles launches a year-long seasonal promotion “Japanese Life through Scent” curated by Hiro Nakayama, in conjunction with the complex store featuring an eclectic mix of modern and traditional products in a unique physical space + digital hybrid retail concept operated by WAZA.
The summer promotion takes place from July 16 to September 18. It showcases themes in history, tradition, custom, wisdom for living — olfactory, sound, sight — nature, innovation on how people in Japan capture summer sensitively and express it in scent, as well as get away from the heat creatively to cool off.
Visitors will appreciate sensory experiences of Japanese history, culture and customs, and discover scented-products curated by Hiro Nakayama to capture summer in Japan.
