Haku Meiga—a series where master foil artisans recreate famous ukiyo-e with Kanazawa Haku, letting the artwork glow against a luminous foil background.

The motif is “Kamikiri no Kidan” (The Hair-Cutting Mystery), a humorous print depicting an unknown creature drawn to a woman’s hair. According to the tale, a maid is attacked late at night, and her carefully tied hair is mysteriously cut and left nearby.
