Reclaimed from Japanese whisky casks that aged spirits for over half a century, the wood of this juzu bracelet has lived a full life before reaching your wrist.
Each bead is turned by hand from white oak — long called the 'king of the forest.' Left in a deliberately natural finish, the wood matures like the spirit it once held: with wear, it develops a deeper, more lustrous patina, a slow record of time spent together. Accent beads of warm compressed amber echo the golden color of fine whisky.
A master Kyoto juzu artisan hand-finishes each piece on quadruple silicone cord — over a century of bead-making craft going into a single bracelet. Presented in a paulownia gift box.
A meaningful daily companion, and an apt marker for a milestone — or a quiet reward to oneself.
