A juzu bracelet pairing two materials long treasured across Asia: aromatic byakudan sandalwood and luminous tiger's eye.
Each bead is turned in the traditional tawara (barrel) shape from sandalwood that releases its sweet, calming fragrance without heat or polish — a scent valued for centuries for its grounding quality. Around the wrist, the full Heart Sutra is hand-engraved bead by bead: one complete cycle of one of Asia's most beloved texts. Tiger's eye accents punctuate the strand — a stone revered in ancient Egypt for clear sight and considered, in many traditions, to support prosperity and decisive action.
The sandalwood softens and gains a richer luster with wear. Strung on quadruple silicone cord by a master Kyoto juzu artisan and presented in a paulownia gift box.
A grounding daily companion — and a refined gift to mark a beginning.
