A simple, fragrant juzu bracelet of hinoki — the Japanese cypress that has built the country's most revered shrines and temples, including Horyu-ji, the oldest surviving wooden structure in the world.
Hinoki is famously fragrant and remarkably durable. Its calming scent has been valued for centuries in Japanese architecture, hot-spring bathhouses, and tea-room construction. With time the wood deepens to a soft amber luster — a quiet, dignified glow that only daily wear can produce.
Finished in a single material (tomo-jitate) to let the wood itself speak, the bracelet is sized to a comfortable 29 beads and threaded on a reinforced gold-brown cord. Presented in a paper gift box.
A gentle introduction to Kyoto juzu craft — equally well-suited as a daily piece, a small heritage gift, or a calming presence on the wrist.
