Onyx has been worn for centuries as a centering stone, said to anchor the spirit and steady resolve. Its lacquer-black depth is offset here by pink firefly-glass beads, hand-blown in Okinawa by artisans who layer fine silver leaf between sheets of glass. The result is a quiet pink that catches the light from within — soft, alive, no two beads alike.
Traditional Kyoto juzu construction meets contemporary design: a master artisan strings each piece on quadruple silicone cord for everyday wear. Presented in a paulownia (kiri) gift box.
