A bolder 10mm juzu strand pairing black onyx with deep-green Ryukyu hotaru firefly glass — for a piece with real presence on the wrist.
Onyx has been worn for millennia as a centering stone, said to settle the spirit and strengthen one's resolve. Its substantial 10mm depth is interrupted by emerald-green Okinawan glass, layered with fine silver leaf using a technique unique to Ryukyu artisans. The green catches light as if lit from within — evocative of deep forest, of calm water — and balances the weight of the onyx with a quiet glow.
