A wide, shallow bowl from potter Akihiro Nikaido, who works in Izu, Shizuoka. A crackled white glaze is laid over a black body in bold, open shapes, so every piece carries its own pattern.
Each piece is made by hand, so shape, color and glaze vary slightly from piece to piece. Hand washing recommended.
Offered by WAZA alongside JAPAN CRAFT — Art for Living: HYAKKO at Japan House Los Angeles (November 6, 2026 – January 24, 2027).
